Henao-Mejia Lab Discovers a Novel lncRNA Critical for the Survival of Myeloid Cells

The lab of Jorge Menao-Mejia, MD, PhD, has published a study in Nature that finds that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are key controllers for maintaining immune health when fighting infection or preventing inflammatory disorders. The paper, "The long non-coding RNA Morrbid regulates Bim and short-lived myeloid cell lifespan," was published in Nature recently.
