Each year, Philadelphia Magazine compiles its "Top Doctors" list of the region's best physicians. Four Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine faculty members are among the 193 Penn physicians who were again included in the annual list published in the May issue. They are Adam Bagg, MD (specialties hematopathology, leukemia and lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes), John J. Brooks, MD, FRCPath (specialties bone and soft-tissue pathology, sarcoma), Franz Fogt, MD (specialties gastrointestinal pathology, ophthalmic pathology), and Virginia A. LiVolsi, MD (specialties endocrine cancers, thyroid, parathyroid pathology, gynecological pathology).
