Awards for Dr. James Wilson

October 10, 2014

James Wilson, MD, PhD, is both the 2014 recipient of the William Osler Patient Oriented Research Award and the co-recipient of the 2014 Jane M. Glick Graduate Student Teaching Award from the Perelman School of Medicine. Each recipient of the 2014 Awards of Excellence was chosen by a committee of distinguished faculty from the Perelman School of Medicine or the University. The Osler Award, established in 1996 to honor Dr. Osler, a "Father of Clinical Medicine" who, in the 1880s at the School of Medicine, revolutionized clinical teaching research, recognizes achievement for research in which an investigator directly interacts with human subjects. The Glick Teaching Award is given to awardees who exemplify the profession's highest values of scholarship and teaching. The School of Medicine will honor its Awards of Excellence recipients during a banquet on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
