At the Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in Philadelphia, Dr. Carl June was the recipient of the third annual AACR-CRI Lloyd J. Old Award in Cancer Immunology. Established in 2013, the AACR-CRI Lloyd J. Old Award in Cancer Immunology is named in honor of Lloyd J. Old, a pioneer in modern tumor immunology. Each year, the award is given to an innovative immunologist who has done exceptional work and made significant contributions to the field.
