The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) announced that Roseann Wu, MD, MPH, FCAP, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, a 2016 ASCP “40 under Forty” honoree, was selected as one of the Top Five from the 40 distinguished individuals. The "40 Under 40" award, now in its third year, honors the top 40 pathologists, residents, and laboratory professionals under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions to the profession. Nominees represent the achievements and qualities important to the pathology and laboratory sciences fields and stand out as the future of laboratory leadership. Top Five "40 Under 40" honorees are selected for their exceptional dedication to the field and are awarded awarded funds to attend ASCP's 2016 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas with special recognition during the ASCP Leaders Lunch.
