Promising Findings for Breast Cancer Therapy with Approved Drugs in Animal Study

Disabling a cancer-causing pathway and administering an immune-molecule-based mop-up therapy eradicated a specific type of breast tumor in mice, according to a new study published by the Greene Lab. The findings, "Disabling of the erbB Pathway Followed by IFN-γ Modifies Phenotype and Enhances Genotoxic Eradication of Breast Tumors," were published in Cell Reports.
