Radiation plus immunotherapy combo revs up immune system to better attack metastatic melanoma, a new Penn study published in Nature suggests. Radiation plus ipilimumab shrank tumors in some patients, but preclinical data suggests adding second immunotherapy will elicit response in resistant patients.
