Dr. Jonni Moore Recipient of the 2016 ICCS Wallace H. Coulter Award

Jonni Moore, PhD, Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, is the recipient of this year's Wallace H. Coulter Award presented by the International Clinical Cytometry Society (ICCS). The Coulter Award was formally presented at the ICCS 2016, the 31st International Clinical Cytometry Meeting in Bonita Springs, Florida. The Coulter award recognizes an individual from anywhere in the world for his or her lifetime contributions to the science, education and practice of Clinical Cytometry and is the highest honor in the field. With the award, Dr. Moore joins an elite group of acknowledged leaders in clinical cytometry and, as the awardee, presented the Wallace H. Coulter Keynote lecture "Following the Yellow (Red, Blue, Green, Violet…) Brick Road to 21st Century Clinical Flow Cytometry" on October 2 at the ICCS Meeting. The award is named after Wallace H. Coulter (1913-1998), a pioneer for innovations in diagnostic and investigative medicine.
