Experimental Therapy Trains Immune Cells to Kill Leukemia

March 18, 2015

A PBS NewsHour segment profiles Penn Medicine’s work in developing and testing experimental personalized cellular therapies for cancer. It includes an interview with Dr. Carl June, whose group of researchers is perhaps the largest "group of people working on immunotherapy in an institution" worldwide. The segment highlights both promising results in clinical trials for patients with blood cancers and the potential of the therapy in a newly launched trial for patients with brain cancer.
