Penn Medicine has established the Penn Neurodegeneration Genomics Center (PNGC), an interdisciplinary center based in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The PNGC, directed by Gerard Schellenberg, PhD, and Li-San Wang, PhD, will provide a home for neurodegeneration genomics research, resources (data and information technology capabilities), building on Penn's experience in big science leadership and genomics technologies, and providing a platform for intellectual activities and education.
