Pending final approval, the Vice Dean for Professional Services has established a COVID-19 Clinical Testing Oversight Committee for informed decision support. The Committee will review and prioritize requests for testing to promote optimal utilization of UPHS testing capacity and develop recommendations for serology testing when available. The committee includes two pathology faculty members who will provide both practical medical insight into testing as well as operational experience on implementing and expanding test capability. Dr. Peter Quinn, Chief Physician Executive for the Penn Medicine Medical Group (PMMG), and Bob Challender, COO of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, have kindly agreed to co-chair the Oversight Committee.
