The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is proud to announce the two winners of the trainees' poster presentations at this year's Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Research Day! More than 30 posters were submitted in two categories.

In the category "Basic Science and Computational Research," Charlotte Kearns from the Una O’Doherty lab won for her poster "In vivo and in vitro evidence for infection of naïve CD4 T cells with CCR5-tropic HIV" (abstract).

In the category "Clinical Translational Research," Ashley Ginda, also from the O’Doherty lab, won for her poster "Increased T Cell Turnover in Sickle Cell Disease" (abstract).
