Electron Microscopy Highlights

Diagnostic electron microscopy (EM) services offered include:

TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) for the ultrastructural interpretation of medical renal biopsies, lung biopsies, GI biopsies and tissue from other neoplastic conditions. EDAX (Energy Dispersal Analysis) for elemental analysis, including environmental pathology studies. 

Equipment includes:

• two (2) Hitachi (H-600 and H-7000) transmission microscopes
• a NORAN SYSTEM Six electron dispersal detector
• full preparatory and imaging capabilities in support of this instrumentation
