Carl June Named One of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World

Carl June, MD, a professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and director of the Center for Cellular Immunotherapies in the Abramson Cancer Center, was named to the Time magazine list of the 100 most influential people in the world in recognition of his pioneering work in the development of CAR T-cell therapy. he list, now in its fifteenth year, recognizes the activism, innovation and achievement of the world’s most influential individuals, and is honoring June for his pioneering work in developing CAR T therapy.
