Recently, CytoVas LLC, a biomarker and diagnostics company for personalized cytomics founded by Department faculty members Jonni S. Moore, PhD, and Wade Rogers, PhD, received approval from the University of Pennsylvania Institutional Review Board (IRB) to enroll participants in a clinical trial titled “The Prospective, Multi-Site, Events Trial of Vascular Health Profile in Vascular Surgery and Cardiovascular Events.” The study is currently recruiting vascular surgery patients through the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at Penn. The study is funded by a strategic partnership between CytoVas and Beckton Dickinson and is expected to last two years, providing valuable data for the further clinical development of the Vascular Health Profile, a diagnostic tool for cardiovascular medicine.
