Dr. Carl June Named 2017 Fellow of the AACR Academy

Carl June, MD, has been named as a member of the 2017 class of fellows of the American Association for Cancer Research Academy. The AACR Academy recognizes and honors distinguished scientists whose major contributions have propelled significant innovation and progress against cancer. AACR Academy Fellows are selected through a rigorous peer review process that evaluates individuals on the basis of their stellar scientific achievements in cancer research or cancer-related biomedical science. Dr. June, one of the twelve 2017 Fellows, was recognized for designing chimeric antigen receptor T cell immunotherapy for the treatment of refractory and relapsed chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
