Each year, Philadelphia Magazine compiles its "Top Doctors" list of the region's best physicians. Four Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine faculty members are among the 185 Penn physicians who were included in the annual list published in the May issue. They are Adam Bagg, MD (specialties: hematopathology, leukemia and lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes), John J. Brooks, MD, FRCPath (specialties: bone and soft-tissue pathology, sarcoma), Franz Fogt, MD (specialties: gastrointestinal pathology, ophthalmic pathology), and Virginia A. LiVolsi, MD (specialties: endocrine cancers, thyroid, parathyroid pathology, gynecological pathology).
