Enrique Olguín-Martínez, PhD, a postdoctoral fellow in the Henao-Mejia lab studying how diet-induced inflammation promotes childhood obesity, has been named a 2023 Pew Latin American Fellow in the Biomedical Sciences. Fellowship Overview
The Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine Fellowship Program is supported by the Division of Transfusion Medicine and Therapeutic Pathology within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and is designed to offer the fellow exposure to all areas of clinical transfusion medicine and to provide opportunities for investigational (basic and translational) studies and enrollment in additional degree-granting programs (e.g. Masters in Translational Research, Masters in Regulatory Affairs, others).
